The group’s shipyard in Brazil, STX Brazil Offshore SA, is strategically located at Conceicao Island, Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro. The yard focuses on platform service vessels such as PSV and AHTS.
The shipyard covers an area of 170.000 m2, of which 55.000 m2 is industrial space with a 120 meters long quay – including tower cranes and installations for up to 100 m long vessel constructions. The capacity of the floating dock is 18 x 100 meters / 3000 tons. The dock is certified by the Classifying Society, governed by the norm ISO 9001/2000.
