AKER YARDS TO BUILD TWO CONTAINER VESSELS

WISMAR / ROSTOCK-WARNEMÜNDE, 19 JULY 2005: Aker Yards has been awarded contracts to build two container vessels for a German ship owner. The vessels are of the newly developed type Aker CS 1700. The total contract value is approximately EUR 65 million. The total order reserve for Aker Yards is now 109 vessels, of which 50 are container ships. The last delivery will be in the third quarter of 2008.
