Aker Brattvaag AS, a company in the Aker Yards Group, has been awarded a contract worth approximately NOK 200 million by Simon Møkster Rederi AS to build a Platform Supply Vessel of the MT 6000 Mk II type.
Delivery from Aker Langsten AS is scheduled for May 2006. The vessel will be approximately 86 meters long, with a beam of 19.70 meters and dead-weight shall be 4150 tons.
This contract is a repeat of a vessel under construction at Aker Langsten to the same owner for delivery mid next year.
Mr Roy Reite, responsible for the Offshore Service Vessel business area in Aker Yards ASA states in a comment: " This contract is our sixth with Simon Møkster Rederi AS, and confirms our long and good relationship with both Simon Møkster Rederi and Marin Teknikk".
