AKER YARDS TO BUILD FOR ISLAND OFFSHORE

Aker Yards has been awarded a contract worth approximately NOK 800 million by Island Offshore to build two AHTS vessels of the new UT 787 type. The contract on the second vessel includes a cancellation clause.

Mr Roy Reite, responsible for the Offshore and Specialized Vessels business area in Aker Yards states in a comment: "This contract is the 14th and 15th between Island Offshore and Aker Yards, and confirms our unique relationship with Island Offshore".
